On James Wilkie wanting to be an actor and eager to start auditioning: “I don’t want him to do it until after he goes to college: But part of me thinks maybe it’s better if he knows the truth now about how hard it is to be a working actor. I don’t know that he grasps what it took to get us here.”

On the difficulty of balancing career and motherhood: “We’ve had two occasions recently where both Matthew and I were working, and it was so hard on the kids. Especially James Wilkie, because he can really articulate how he feels about our absence. On the other hand, there are big chunks of time when we’re home a lot more than conventionally working parents. So you hope to make up for it.”

On fraternal twins Loretta and Tabitha: “They’re talking, they’re running, they need me. Loretta is deeply inquisitive: ‘Do you see that, do you hear that, Mama?’ She constantly checks that we are connecting with her.” Her sister is the family princess: “Tabitha does not give; she receives.”

On using babysitters, but not live-in help: “We love closing the door and having the only people in the house be our three children and us. It’s such a good feeling to know that we’re competent and capable and that it’s private."

On any chance for a third Sex and the City movie: “There is. I know what the story is. It’s a small story, but I think it should be told. The question is, what’s the right time to tell it?”

For the past two weeks, Rise of the Planet of the Apes landed the #1 spot at the box office, but now there's talk that The Help might be the top grosser for its second week in release.

The Emma Stone-starring film exceeded expectations last week, bringing in $25.5 million and coming in at second place.

According to projections, The Help is expected to bring in approximately $18 million this upcoming weekend.

Other movies that will be competing for that #1 spot include Fright Night, One Day, Conan the Barbarian, Spy Kids: All the Time in the World, AND there's always the possibility that Apes maintains its throne!

Who knows, though! Maybe The Smurfs will return to #1 in a surprise move! It COULD happen! Ha!

According to a citizen in the town:

“Ledyard Town Clerk Rose Marie Belforti submitted a letter to the Ledyard Town Board saying that her religious beliefs prevented her from signing marriage licenses for same-sex couples and the board discussed Belforti’s letter at Monday’s meeting, according to John Binns, a member of the town board.”

Ugh. Absolutely deplorable.

The law is the LAW, lady! If you don't like it, work somewhere else!

Luckily, that seems to also Gov. Andrew Cuomo's opinion on the matter, as he's stated publicly that if town clerks cannot follow the legislation, then they need to leave their posts!

Yesterday, a young man who was visiting the Top of The Rock attraction at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, separated from his group and scaled over the 10-foot glass partition on the 70th floor. He threatened to jump sans any explanation, which sent the city into a panic.

The streets below were closed off by FDNY, NYPD and thankfully, after some time, the man was talked off the ledge and brought back inside.

Check out the video (above) to put this into perspective. 70 flights up would've been a long way to fall.

We're just glad he's safe and he didn't hurt anyone else or himself.

Peter Berg is working on a ‘Friday Night Lights’ movie now that the series has ended its five year run. Find out how Berg and his partner Jason Katims plan on bringing the critically acclaimed television series that stars Kyle Chandler, Connie Britton and Taylor Kitsch to the big screen. ‘Battleship’ director Peter Berg, who adapted the Texas loving football series ‘Friday Night Lights’ for TV, has announced that he is writing a script to continue the story of Coach Eric Taylor and Tami Taylor. Although production is still far away, Jason Katims also confirmed that it’s in the works. According to TVLine’s Michael Ausiellio and Vlanda Gelman, Berg made the announcement while attending the Television Critics Association press tour, sharing that he and his partner Jason Katims are “very serious” about making the film and “intend to do it.” Since the series that stars Super 8’s Kyle Chandler, Connie Britton, actress Aimee Teagarden and Taylor Kitsch came to an end after five seasons last month this should be exciting news for fans who can now look forward to the return of their favorite characters. Eureka, the sci-fi series about a fictional Oregon town inhabited by geniuses and scientists, promises to close on a satisfying end.

To console fans, SyFy released this statement:

After painstaking consideration, we have had to make the difficult business decision to not order a season six of Eureka. But Eureka is not over yet. There is a new holiday episode this December and 12 stellar episodes set to debut next year, marking its fifth season and six memorable years on Syfy. The 2012 episodes are some of the best we’ve seen, and will bring this great series to a satisfying end. We are very grateful to Bruce Miller and Jaime Paglia, their team of incredible writers, and an amazing cast and crew who have consistently delivered a series we continue to be very proud of. Last we heard from Katt Williams, he was arrested following a bizarre standoff with a tractor driver.

Now, we've learned that Katt was kicked out of his own comedy show on Saturday night after getting too "belligerent" towards his crowd.

Apparently, he was performing a show at the Improv in Ontario, CA, but due to his behavior the show ended early and a second show he was scheduled to do later that night was cancelled.

Not only that, but we're also hearing that they called the cops on Katt when he tried to return to the club!

Who gets kicked out of their own show??? You seriously need to get yourself together, Katt!

That's a HUGE amount!! What a ballsy move!

When Daniel Craig dumped his girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell and began dating Rachel Weisz, Satsuki was apparently so angry that he broke things off with her, that she found an interesting way to get revenge.

She didn't go so crazy as to do something like boil his pet bunny rabbit, but she DID rack up about $1 million in charges on HIS credit cards, which for some reason, she had permission to use.

A source explains what happened:

"One morning, Daniel left for the set, as usual. Only that night, he didn’t come home. Satsuki was frantically calling, texting and emailing him, but he was probably with Rachel and not answering. [Satsuki] hit back, the only way she knew how."

Is that REALLY the only way she knew how to get back at him?? How about a strongly-worded email?? Yes, Daniel may have acted a little, dare we say, douchetastic in this situation, but charging a million bucks to his credit card is pretty hardcore!

He's actually probably pretty happy he got out of that relationship. We would be too!

Though LiLo went out to watch Coldplay's benefit concert at UCLA the other night, she never actually made it backstage to hang with the cool kids.
They wouldn't let her in!

Yeah, some people would've kept them. Those people wouldn't have any more friends, but who needs friends when you've got a waffle iron from Crate and Barrel?

Anyway, the gifts were sent back and everyone who was gracious enough to buy something for the couple got a little note sent to them (above) explaining that they'll be getting their money back shortly.

Alls end that ends well - at least for their guests! Things are probably still a little a rough for Kristin and Jay though.

Last night Emma and I made our way out to The Greek Theater to see Lykke Li in concert and we had THE best time rockin’ out under the stars. I had never seen Lykke Li live before so I was excited to see how she translates to a live performance. I have to say, she totally rocked. Her vibe is a bit midtempo and … emo … but her voice is fantastic. She is deffo an artist that must be experienced live.

Lykke Li has this funerary vibe that I really enjoy. The songs are sad, full of lament … and beautiful. To be honest, I’m not familiar with Lykke‘s music to know the songs by name just by hearing them but she performed an amazing set of songs from her 2 albums. We had a blast.

Today, I have a LOT of stuff to take care of before David and I fly back East tomorrow. It’s too boring to even list but trust me, I’ll be bizzy. We are hoping to attend an early screening of The Help tonight but our attendance will depend on whether or not I can get my shizz done. I hope your Thursday is a great (and less hectic) one ;D

We are still about 4 months away from the release of The Muppets movie but the final one sheet poster for the film has already been released. Now, I’m not sure what makes a “one-sheet poster” special but I suspect it refers to a “main poster” (ie. with multiple characters) as opposed to individual “character posters”. My guess is that there will be more Muppets movie posters to come … but as far as one-sheets go, today we get to see the final one below.

These posters with all the Muppets crammed together are really fun. I’m enjoying the posters and the trailers seem clever … but, man, I hope the movie is good. I will be SO BUMMED if it turns out to be a crappy film. I have faith, tho, that it will turn out well … at least, I really really really hope so.

Yesterday afternoon, David and I winged our way up to San Francisco, CA to spend the weekend hanging out with his brother Aram. David’s been to SF a few times since my last visit but I haven’t been here for about 2 years now so … I’m excited to be back in the city. The temps in LA have been in the high 80s/low 90s for the past week … but it is much cooler here in SF. As much as I don’t love cold weather, let me tell you, it’s a nice change of pace.

David and I met up with Aram and his girlfriend Jodee for a sushi dinner and we had a great time hanging out. Jodee is a doll … and David and I are the first of the family to meet her. We loved her entirely and think she is a perfect match for Aram. Because A had an early day at work today, we didn’t hang out for too long last night. David and I walked around for a bit but made it an early night as well. This evening, we will be meeting up with David’s BFF Diana and then … who knows.

SF, I’m in you. Let’s have a good weekend, yes?

Apparently, on a flight headed for Cancun and before the plane could pull away, Brooke went to use the restroom because she was feeling nauseous. The flight attendant told her no, as the plane was about to leave.

This didn't sit well with Brooke, who then lost her shizz and started yelling at the flight attendant, demanding that they let her off the plane:

Brooke insisted she had to throw up, but Brooke is telling people the flight attendant rudely replied, "Tough." Brooke then went ballistic and demanded to get off the plane. She says her wish was granted.

But other witnesses submit that her tirade ended with her being removed from the plane, not being granted an exit!

This is why they make airsickness bags, Brooke. Just because you're famous doesn't mean you can violate airplane rules and then act a fool about it!
